 he Topaz in this section comes from the Klein Spitzkoppe in Namibia, south-east of the Brandberg, and west of The Erongo Mountains.
Smokey Quartz is also found in this area, and is sometimes associated with the Topaz.
Some of these Topaz crystals have Black Tourmaline (Schorl) with them, either as inclusions, or on the surface. Whether there is Schorl found in the Klein Spitzkoppe, or these Topaz crystals are from The Erongo Mountains, we are unsure.
The Topaz crystals from this region are usually clear or a very pale blue in colour.
