These rhombohedral Calcite crystals have formed on a layer of Mottramite, but almost all have Mottramite inclusions also. There are areas where Mottramite has again covered the Calcite. There is a lovely cavernous opening on the back, with a channel leading through the centre to the front of the specimen. This is also filled with Mottramite included Calcite crystals. |
