The matrix of this little specimen has a dusting of fine Hausmanite crystals associated. The larger of the Sturmanite crystals is terminated, with a contact point running from the side to the back, near the base. The smaller of the crystals is partially terminated. The termination is obstructed by the base, but is self-healed. These two Sturmanite crystals lie at right-angles to one another, forming a Japanese Twin. |
