The light pink Manganoan Calcite has a botryoidal formation, with the main crystal having a Kutnahorite filled cavity in its centre. Fine hair-like Kutnahorite crystal are visible in many areas on the Calcite surface. There are self-healed contact points on both the side and back of the specimen. Beautiful cubed Calcite crystals can be seen in three cavities on the back of this specimen. This specimen glows an intense orange under UV light. A really lovely piece! |
