The base of this unusual specimen has some Pyrite attached to the white Calcite. The Calcite is then coated with brown Lizardite. The raised areas on the front of this specimen are darker brown, with the lower areas being a beige colour. This piece has an almost scaly appearance. There is some damage to the Lizardite coating, revealing the Calcite crystals beneath. |
