A tan-coloured, polished jigsaw ammonite in which the complex sutures are very clearly visible. There are a few flashes of red opalecence on the back of this specimen, and the siphuncle (tube near the outside of the shell, connecting internal chambers) is partially visible on the lateral surface. |
